Dr. Christopher Teng joined Glaucoma Associates of New York in July, 2009. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at New York Medical College and New York Eye and Ear Infirmary and is a Clinical Instructor of Ophthalmology at New York University School of Medicine.

Dr. Teng attended the University of Chicago, from which he graduated with a degree in Economics. He went to medical school at SUNY Downstate Medical Center College of Medicine and completed his residency in Ophthalmology at New York University Medical Center. Following residency, he completed a fellowship in Glaucoma at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary.

Dr. Teng has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals and magazines, and has presented his research at national meetings. His research interests include the optic nerve complex and wound healing following glaucoma surgery.
